Rudell was born in Huntington Beach, California, on October 27, 1964. She is Gary and Shirley Ruddell’s daughter. Sharise is one of her parents’ four children. Gary Lee Ruddell, Greg Ruddell, and Shanae Ruddell are her siblings.
Sharise, Vince’s ex-wife, attended Whittier Christian High School in La Habra, California. She relocated from Orange County to Los Angeles after graduating from high school.

Ruddell’s daughter, born on March 26, 1991, died on August 15, 1995, after a four-month battle with cancer.
