How did Shyne start his Professional Career?

Shyne registered for Puffy’s Bad Boy Camp in 1999. One evening at Club New York in Manhattan, Shyne, Puff Daddy, and Puffy’s then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez escaped the scene following a gunshot.

Following police apprehending the evading Bad Boys, Shyne and Puffy were formally charged with several offenses, including heedless endangerment, attempted murder, criminal use of a firearm, criminal use of a weapon, and felony gun possession. Three additional people sustained injuries.

The following year, Puffy was exonerated of all charges, whereas Shyne was convicted of two counts each of assault, negligent endangerment, and weapons possession.

Increased interest in Shyne’s self-titled album, which debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard album chart in 2000, was a factor in the scandal.

A new album was released at the end of the same year that Def Jam Records announced they had signed him to a lucrative contract, which had occurred four years later.

In 2004, several months later, his subsequent album titled “Godfather Buried Alive” was released. Sadly, it received only moderately positive reviews and failed to achieve any significant success.

Shyne, a rapper, is a native of Belize. Despite having spent his childhood years in New York, his country of birth was Belize.

The songs “Bonnie & Shyne” and “Bad Boyz” are among his most recognizable. Several multi-platinum albums, including “Confessions,” “Carter IV,” “Born Again,” “Double Up,” and “Forever,” feature music that Shyne composed and produced.
