Skeet Ulrich is probably best known now as “the man from Scream,” a true past with every action deliberate. Ulrich didn’t dislike acting, exactly. Simply put, he loved his kids more.

After being kidnapped by his father and forced to travel the country for three years, Ulrich grew up in a broken family and eventually moved in with his mother after his father disappeared.
Ulrich therefore couldn’t simply let history repeat itself when his marriage to Georgina Cates ended in divorce when his children were only four years old.
In the Past, Skeet Ulrich and His Wife Had Twins
Ulrich and his ex-wife Cates welcomed two stunning fraternal twins, Jakob and Naiia, on March 9, 2001. Sadly, Ulrich’s marriage to his wife did not last, and in 2005 the two got divorced. When everything was said and done, the father was given legal custody of the kids.
Ulrich could have hired an army of nannies to look after and support his children if he had continued performing. He would, however, spend much less time with his kids due to his busy schedule.
Uninformed observers might think Ulrich is a Hollywood flop or a fading fad. However, upon closer inspection, it became obvious that his departure was definitely intentional.
The actor revealed in a Fatherly interview that his choice to remain at home after divorcing his wife and continue raising his children was a response to the conditions of his upbringing.
I won’t go into detail about my background or the poor parenting I experienced, but I vowed never to treat my kids like they weren’t loved.
As a young adult, the actor sought professional counseling to assist him in processing his feelings over his formative years. In his early years, he ran numerous times, but it didn’t stack up.
His analyst told him that the memories would be okay once he had children once he had finished the idea and acknowledged that his childhood trauma could never be undone.
He was right, but I didn’t understand it when I was 23, he says. I got a fresh opportunity to relive my childhood. In addition, I get to be the parent I never had.
The actor has since made it a point to only accept roles that will keep him in Los Angeles, which is bad for his career.
He only acknowledged working on a project outside of the City of Angels once, on Riverdale. Ulrich acknowledged using a nanny as well. However, he had only ever needed to do it twice before.
