On February 22, 2022, YouTuber SoLLUMINATI, real name Javontay Baynes, posted a video titled “BIDEN Ross MUST BE STOPPED!!” to his YouTube channel.
As a result, the two parties got into a fight.
The YouTuber attempted to expose Adin Ross, a well-known Twitch streamer known for his “sus” (suspicious) content.
Ross frequently invites major rap artists and makes gay jokes and comments about his sexuality in front of them.
There are times in his videos when he makes subtle comments implying he is gay, but he quickly retracts them and states unequivocally that he has a girlfriend.
Although most people find he “I am gay but not really” jokes offensive, the streamer still attracts a large number of viewers.
SoLLUMINATI Takes a Stand Against Adin Ross
But SoLLUMINATI, who was having none of it, appears to have made it his mission to put an end to Ross’ career.
He stated in his video that he was speaking on behalf of all the rappers and people who were not pleased with the popular streamer’s punchlines.
The rapper claimed that the streamer was likely bi-curious, that he had taken his jokes and sus content too far, and that he was offending the LGBTQ+ community as a result:
“You look like a predator, bro […] You’re acting gay, ‘oh I want… your’ to get reactions, and you’re making them [Ross’ guests] uncomfortable. That is not amusing “According to the YouTuber.
He went on to say that while children might find it amusing, grown men did not and that he was “emasculating men.”
The YouTuber stated that if a person spent enough time with Ross, they would become bi-curious and begin saying things they rarely say.
He also chastised all the rappers who appeared on his channel for putting up with Ross’ antics to gain clout for their music.
The YouTuber has also started a Change.org petition to deplatform the streamer.
As of this writing, he had 14,303 signatures.
Adin Ross Responds to Charges
Ross responded to the YouTuber’s accusations during a live stream shortly after the video went live.
After hearing the rapper claim that everyone would abandon Ross if they discovered he was gay, he immediately launched a poll.
He asked his viewers if his close friends, such as Coffee, Cheese, and Snaggymo, would mind if he was gay.
However, Ross admitted that he had “been humbled by” Polo G and others and realized that he did not want to offend anyone.
“You’re late, bro. I’ve taken a step back. Don’t you realize I’ve got a few scares? “The rapper stated.
The streamer also stated that he had grown up making such jokes and that it was just his personality.
He asked the YouTuber why he was the only one receiving criticism when others created similar content.
Ross denied child exploitation and accused the YouTuber of exaggerating.
It appears that the feud between these two will not be resolved anytime soon.
