Naveen Andrews, a British-American actor, gained notoriety for his role as Sayid, an ex-Iraqi soldier, in the ABC drama Lost.
His portrayal of the distressed Asian man in the US illustrated the challenges that foreigners encounter when attempting to live in the West.
He received praise from the audience for the part and received nominations for many honors, including the Emmys.
But it wasn’t just his outstanding acting talent that got his name in news articles. He was involved in a significant number of problems due to his messy personal life and relationships with older ladies.
Naveen Andrews was raised without love in a harsh household as a result of his early birth. He had a strong desire to find love elsewhere. Geraldine Feakins, his married math instructor who was 14 years older than him, and he fell in love.
He became close to his math instructor and had a sexual relationship with her after accepting an invitation to live with Feakins’ family. To the dismay of the romantic, Mr. Feakins learned that his wife was seeing her student and filed for divorce, accusing Geraldine of infidelity.
When Naveen’s divorce from Mr. Feakins was finalized in 1985, she moved in with Geraldine. They have a son named Jaisal throughout their seven years of marriage.
Geraldine and Naveen split up in 1992, although he spoke fondly of her in a 2005 interview.
Speaking to Dailymail, Naveen recalled his ex-girlfriend Geraldine and claimed to have been mesmerized by her presence in his life. In the interview, he also gave their son high accolades.
He was quoted by Mail Online in 2005 as saying, “We have a wonderful son, therefore I consider myself lucky to have met someone older than me at that time.
Naveen gained notoriety in 1993 as Karim Amir in Hanif Quereshi’s novel-turned-TV series, The Buddha of Suburbia, following his divorce from Geraldine.
He gained a lot of industry admirers and job opportunities for his portrayal of a disturbed gay man in the series.
But because of his use of drugs and alcohol, his standing in the UK had gotten worse. He had no choice but to move to the United States due to his declining repute status.
He also met his current love of his life in 1999 while filming the American independent film Drowning On Dry Land.

With One, Love; With Another, Son
He met the renowned actress Barbara Hershey, who was 21 years older than him, while they were filming Drowning on Dry Land. Despite their disparity in age, they hit it off right away and started dating.
The seasoned actress told Dailymail that she fell in love with Naveen at first sight when they first met in 2005.
“Yes, love was evident at first sight. I had the impression that I had finally met my true mate after all these years.”
But as had always been the case with the actor of Asian descent, criticism surrounded him even throughout their wonderful relationship, perhaps due to the age gap between them. In 2005, the pair, who had been together since 1999, momentarily split up.
Additionally, during their brief separation, the actor had a sexual relationship with Czech actress Elena Eustache, becoming pregnant with her child, Naveen Joshua Andrews. Later, he made amends with Barbara and engaged Elena in a contentious custody dispute for his son.
The actor charged Elena with breaking their first parenting arrangements by removing their son from Los Angeles with the actor’s approval.
Elena was also subjected to a mental examination at the request of Naveen’s lawyer after Barbara was accused of witchcraft by the actress in The Informant. He prevailed in the legal case in 2007.
The Sense8 star divorced Barbara in 2010 three years after defeating his ex-girlfriend Elena in court. According to one of his interviews with Independent magazine in 2012, he kept in touch with Barbara even after they split up.
Similar to this, he admitted to being in a relationship with a mysterious woman during the same interview. He continued by saying that he had grown up since then and that his only goal now was to be a good parent to his two children.
According to reports, Naveen is currently single and devoted on raising his son. Additionally, he made an appearance in the first season of the Netflix series Sense8 in 2018.
Both critics and audiences found the show to be successful, and fans are now anticipating a second season in which Naveen might return.
