After a split, ex-lovers don’t always avoid each other. Some, though, continue to be pals. One such ex-couple is Sophie Kasaei and Joel Corry from Geordie Shore. The first seasons of MTV’s sensational show included scenes from their six-year romance.

Their relationship broke off in September 2017
In an interview with New! Magazine, Kasaei disclosed that her ex-boyfriend had called to break up with her. She suspected there was another girl because he indicated it wouldn’t work between them. Aber, he swore that nobody else was accountable.
I don’t think we have a future because it’s just not what I want, he continued. It’s reasonable that you want to settle down, but I’m not ready for that,” she said.

Kasaei relocated from Newcastle to Essex in order to be with Corry, but she later went back. The Geordie Shore star admitted that despite getting dumped over the phone, she had no animosity for her ex. The MTV personality claims that their split may have been brought on by the public’s perception of them.
She claimed that because Corry was distant with Kasaei, the “whole nation” despised her affair with him.
Kasaei stated that she was still friendly with her ex-boyfriend.
After they broke up, he claimed that he banned her phone number to make things easy rather than out of spite. With singles like “Head & Heart” and “Lonely and Bed,” his music career took off. Kasaei was among the first to congratulate him after “Head & Heart” reached the UK’s top spot on the charts. Indeed, Joel! Each of us is extremely proud! She tweeted, “Hard effort always pays off.

The musician revealed his ex-girlfriend and relationship status thanks to “Head & Heart.” Corry told The Sun that when Kasaei congratulated him on his musical accomplishment, it made him feel affected.
We had only chatted infrequently, so Sophie’s gesture was appreciated. I believe she’s doing fantastic. We are not enemies, he declared. Kasaei knew his dream and the time they were together, so he thanked her for her sweet comments.
Kasaei undoubtedly sent his best wishes and expressed his happiness. He declared that he was “100% single” and concentrated on his music rather than dating. Lady DMs were arriving, but he wasn’t concerned with them.
