The United States of Burgers challenge was won by Bun B’s burger brand, Trill Burgers, on Good Morning America. Trill Burgers got votes from NFL running back Tiki Barber, NBA player Jalen Rose, WWE wrestler Titus O’Neil, and ABC anchor Sam Champion from the panel of judges.
It’s so strange that it doesn’t make logic. The idea that this business would be in Times Square after earning the title of “America’s Best Burger” live on Good Morning America is not even remotely plausible. All we wanted was to be recognized for our endeavors, and today we got the best reward. I’m so excited to serve this sandwich to Americans.
The next pop-up for Trill Burgers, which made its debut as a pop-up eatery in August 2021, is scheduled to occur during the Rock the Bells concert series.
Bun B’s wealth
With Pimp C, Bun B became well-known as a member of the rap duo UGK. He has so far released five albums, all of which have gotten favorable reviews from his audience.
According to CelebrityNetWorth, the 49-year-old old’s worth was about $4 million as of January 2023. Although detailed information about his assets is not available, the bulk of his wealth comes from his work as a rapper.
He co-founded UGK, also known as Bernard James Freeman, with Pimp C in the 1980s. The latter group released a demo tape without Freeman first, and Bigytime Records later came across it. They released an extended play called Banned before the release of Too Hard to Swallow because the tracks on their debut album were explicit.
The group made three more records before Pimp C was sent to jail. After releasing the Legends mixtape, Bun B began to feature as a guest rapper on other rappers’ albums. His debut record, Trill, debuted on the Billboard 200 chart at number six in October 2005 after its release.
After Pimp C passed away in 2007, Freeman focused more on his solo business. He published II Trill, his second record, in 2008, and Trill OG, his third album, in August 2010.
The albums’ songs were well received by the rapper’s followers. Bun B’s fourth album, Trill OG: The Epilogue, was published in November 2013 and featured unfinished tracks from Freeman’s third album. He unveiled “The Trillest Tour” in January 2014, and it went on that same year.
