Alongside his affiliation with the New York Knicks, Dedes has been employed by CBS Sports since 2010 as a play-by-play announcer, specializing in NFL and NCAA Men’s Basketball coverage. In March 2010, Dedes presided over the first and second rounds of the Men’s Basketball Championship.

He was a presenter and play-by-play announcer for NFL Network from 2006 to 2011. During that time, he oversaw NFL Total Access Monday, which provided analysis and news before and after the Monday Night Football game. Apart from his role at NFL Total Access, he also provided play-by-play commentary for collegiate bowl games and preseason NFL games at the network.
