OMEGA X

The CEO of Spire Entertainment, who was involved in the OMEGA X assault controversy, has formally submitted his resignation.

The organization apologized in a statement to the supporters, members, and their parents. On November 7, Spire Entertainment released a statement to console Love Me Like fans and to openly ask for forgiveness while taking full responsibility for the incident:

“Aside from this dreadful scenario, we also sincerely regret disappointing you due to the agency’s inadequate response thus far. The problem is one for which Spire Entertainment fully accepts responsibility.

OMEGA X made headlines last month after several fans saw the boy band being verbally and physically abused by the company’s CEO in the United States. Since then, further viewpoints on the incident have appeared online. Fans have expressed their disgust at the incident and suggested that the CEO step down if she is unable to do her duties well.

With regards to the tragic incident with OMEGA X involving the female CEO, Spire Entertainment has now officially apologized to the fans and members and provided details about it.

They claimed in their statement:

Welcome to Spire Entertainment, and good to see you. We want to start by sincerely apologizing to the members, their families, and any OMEGA X supporters who may have been hurt by this.

And in order to prevent this in the future, Spire Entertainment will make every effort to address the difficult problems you have brought up.

The organization also pledged to treat members fairly going forward:

“Furthermore, we will try to prevent a recurrence to spare the OMEGA X members from going through a similar painful experience again, and we will keep in touch with the members as we try to improve the environment so they can focus on their artistic endeavors. I appreciate it very much.

The members just started a new Instagram account that is separate from the one connected to Spire Entertainment, which is when the announcement was made. They also talked about how they felt about the situation and told their fans that they wanted to keep together and work hard to achieve their objective.

The CEO of Spire Entertainment, which houses OMEGA X, was shown physically and verbally assaulting group members in an earlier video.

Fans were worried about the members after the entire incident was videotaped and posted online. In addition, eleven members of the group—including their supervisors—were abandoned in the country without any assistance from the agency. Fortunately, they were able to safely board their flight back to Korea using tickets they paid for themselves.
