Steve Harvey had difficult difficulties for a very long time, both personally and professionally. Despite his failures as a husband and father, the comic continued to pursue his career. But after Steve married his third wife, things started to go better for him.

The First Marriage of Steve Harvey and Marcia Harvey

In 1980, Steve and Marcia Harvey got married for the first time. Steve was just an ordinary guy back then. He worked as a mailman, insurance salesman, autoworker, carpet cleaner, and boxer to make ends meet.

Marcia was a fantastic wife in everything. She helped him every step of the way, even when he was at his lowest. Before long, the couple became first-time parents.

When their children arrived, their already wonderful marriage got even better. Initially, on August 20, 1982, Steve and Marcia welcomed twin daughters, Brandi & Karli.

Then, in 1991, Marcia gave birth to their third child, Broderick Harvey Jr., a few years later. Their happy family was now complete, but misfortune soon followed.

When and why did Marcia and Steve file for divorce?

Steve and Marcia separated legally in 1994, although their relationship had been tense for a numbeseveralprior. After his two daughters were born in the middle of the 1980s, Steve left his family to pursue his job. a choice that strained his bond with his twins for years.

Recalling his predicament, Steve said, “I’m married, and I have twins [Brandi and Karli, 33].” Though I should be taking care of them, I had to take this risk.

After Steve’s first stand-up gig earned him fifty-fifty-dollar, he decided to climb the ladder. On that same day, he resigned from his position selling insurance. His resignation was not well received by Marcia.

His marriage was permanently damaged by this. With the arrival of Broderick Jr., things appeared to be improving. Still, their romance did not last.

Steve wed Mary Lee Harvey, his second wife. In 1996

Following years of hardship, Steve had at last made his way into the entertainment industry. He was hired as the popular programprogramhowtime at the Apos host. In addition, his stand-up comedy accomplishments helped him land a 1994 role in the ABC series Me and the Boys.

Furthermore, he fell in love once more two years following his divorce from Marcia. He finally fell in love with Mary Lee Harvey (née Shackelford), and on June 21, 1996, they exchanged nuptials.

Steve and Mary are parents to a son.

On July 18, 1997, the husband and wife welcomed Wynton Harvey into the world. The presenter of The Steve Harvey Show has already gone through fatherhood once before. For Mary, though, it was the first time.

Mary once mentioned that Wynton nearly passed away at the moment of his birth. He yet persevered and lived to see the following day.

Before Steve and Mary had decided to divorce, things were going very nicely.

Steve Was Accused of Infidelity by Mary: Their Divorce Battle

Mary and Steve got separated after being together for almost nine years. November 2005 saw the finalization of their divorce. Mary received three of Steve’s houses as part of their divorce settlement, along with $40,000 a month up until 2009 and $1.9 million after that. It’s safe to say that she had her hands full.

In 2011, Mary resurfaced and asserted that her divorce from Steve had left her financially penniless. She further claimed that he had cheated on her with his present wife, Marjorie. In addition, she said that Steve had mistresses besides Marjorie.

Mary claims that during their marriage, she once answered Marjorie’s phone and discovered a letter from a lady named Terry. Judge Robert Dry of the Collin County, Texas District Court at the time declared Mary’s allegation of poverty to be untrue.

That didn’t stop Mary from assigning blame, though. After their 2005 divorce, she came out once more in 2017 and demanded half of the money Steve had made. She insisted that since she was there for him when he had nothing, she should be entitled to all of his fortunes now that he was successful.

Mary also disclosed that Steve stole all of her riches and turned her son into her. She was shown to be an unfit mother throughout the custody dispute, and Steve was granted custody.

Marjorie Bridges-Woods, Steve’s third wife, and he are happily married.

Everyone learns from their mistakes, and in Steve’s situation, this adage couldn’t have been lied more perfectly. The sixty-three-year-old is enjoying a wonderful married life following two unsuccessful marriages.

On June 25, 2007, he and Marjorie Elaine Harvey exchanged vows. Steve married Marjorie without any hesitation, even though he was carrying two failures on his back.

He claims that she is the only person in the world who has changed his life and improved him as a man. Marry the guy if your lover says similar things about you.

In addition, the couple was introduced to one another in 1990. Marjorie was there because Steve was performing at a club at the time. Steve said, “I don’t know who you are, but I’m going to marry you,” as soon as he took one look at her.

Ultimately, he did end up marrying this girl.

Marjorie was married to three men.

Thus, Marjorie and her husband Steve have both been married before. The fascinating portion isn’t over yet; she also walked down the aisle with two well-known drug lords.

Initially, she wed Jim L. Townsend. She later exchanged vows with Donnell Woods, half of the notorious Woods brothers, following his prison sentence. Mary also had an affair with Ronnie Woods, Donnell’s brother, although she grew closer to him after he was imprisoned.

She has three children with her former spouses: Jason Harvey, Morgan Harvey, and Lori Harvey.

Having raised seven children, Steve and his wife Marjorie are proud parents.

Steve’s brood grew from four to seven after he married Marj and adopted all three of her children. However, in contrast to most stepfather partnerships, Steve is a loving father to both his children and his stepchildren.

He and his seven children routinely exchange several photos. (Interesting fact: Lori Harvey, his daughter, is said to have hooked up with Future and Diddy.)

Steve and Marjorie have seven children and five grandchildren.
