After years of battling with back discomfort and concerns with her body image, the 54-year-old “View” co-host confessed she underwent liposuction and a breast reduction. She told People on Wednesday that she felt like a better version of herself and that having surgery was a decision made for her own health and self-care.

The mother of two noted that although she initially had chest-related self-consciousness as a teen, as she got older, the problem only grew worse.
Hostin stated she didn’t know having children would cause her breasts to expand since, by the time she was 16, she was a double-D. But after being in tears before the White House Correspondents’ Dinner the year before because her dress wouldn’t zip up, she decided to get surgery.
She scheduled an appointment with breast expert Dr. Anna Steve and New York City plastic surgeon Dr. Ryan Neinstein to get liposuction on her chin and waist as well as a breast lift and reduction. She changed from a G to a C cup size.

After Sunny joined “The View” in 2016, she admitted that she had to wear a minimizer bra, a sports bra, or a binder all the time since her top was so enormous but her waist was so little.
Despite a less-than-“glamorous” recovery procedure, Hostin claimed that she feels better than ever. The talk show presenter hoped that by being open about undergoing surgery, other women would feel empowered to take the necessary steps to improve their own health.

After that, the TV celebrity entered the stage and anecdotally discussed how having a huge bust caused her a number of issues and ultimately led her to a plastic surgery clinic. Sunny’s husbaseverall, was “against” her getting the operation, so she had to hire a private nurse to “take care of her”.
