Tame One was a follower of graffiti art and was born on March 20, 1970. He was a part of the rap group Artifacts in the early 1990s.
With their debut album, Between a Rock and a Hard Place, which was inspired by graffiti, Tame One, and El Da Sensei gained popularity. Their second album, That’s Them, was released in 1997. Tame’s breakup in the late 1990s resulted in a period during which no albums or singles were released.
He worked with the Boom Skwad crew and alone put out 12 tracks. He joined forces with the High & Mighty, former Rawkus Records signees, and signed with Eastern Conference Records in late 2001.
