Tarek El Moussa spoke with Fox News in August 2019 about his first encounter with his now-fiancee Heather Rae. Tarek honked his boat horn at Heather to catch her attention as they were both enjoying their time on a yacht. However, the star of Selling Sunset was in a relationship at the time and declined.

Tarek subsequently asked her out again, and she accepted his second invitation because she was recently single. He stated on Fox News,
“We’re still in the early stages of our relationship, but we’re having a great time.” She’s beautiful and adorable, and I’m loving every minute of it.”
“My heart is overflowing with joy. “Sometimes someone enters your life and you just know they’re meant to be there,” Heather said in the description. Tarek, her boyfriend, on the other hand, responded, “It’s official!!!! The couple sat down with PeopleTV for their first joint interview as a couple only a week after they made their romance official. They both spoke out about their connection there.
“We’ve spent a lot of time together…”And we’re just having so much fun,” Tarek remarked. He went on to say,
“We concentrate on having fun, living life, and simply enjoying each other’s company.” And going out to eat, and boating.”
Meanwhile, Heather Rae revealed their date nights, saying they enjoy doing typical things on dates such as hanging out, going out to dinner, and watching movies.
In January 2020, they moved in together.

The couple moved in together in West Hollywood in January 2020. At the time, Young told US Weekly, “It was so natural for us.” El Moussa, on the other hand, described their new residence as “a whole new world.”
El Moussa revealed in April 2020 that he and Rae had moved into a new home together. “My [old] home was very special home to me,” the 38-year-old reality star said on Instagram. It was the first place the kids and I called ‘home’ following the divorce.”
They are getting married in July 2020.

Tarek announced on Instagram a few days later that he and Heather had gotten engaged. “She said yes!” he captioned the photo of him putting the ring on Heather’s finger.
El Moussa then tweeted a photo of himself getting down on one knee to propose to his then-girlfriend with an 8.08 Carat Emerald cut diamond ring a few days later.
Tarek El Moussa discussed their wedding in a different Instagram post in August. He mentioned that he and his girlfriend are thinking about getting married in Europe, California, or Mexico.
Tarek also invited his fans to choose a location for their wedding after his post. However, the real estate investor has not specified a date for his wedding.
