On July 7, 1981, Tasha Cobbs was born in Jesup, Georgia. Her real name is Natasha Tameika. She was conceived by her mother, Bertha Cobbs, and her late father, Bishop Fritz Cobbs (1954-2014).
Cobbs was raised in the “New Life Ministries” church in Jesup, which is run by her parents. When Cobb was a young child, she started singing at this worship service. She kept singing well into her adolescence.
