Around eight in the morning, he was last spotted leaving his Poplar Street residence while sporting black shoes, pants, and a blue hoodie.

When he didn’t get home by six o’clock in the evening, his mother Dawn Taylor-Weaver filed a missing person’s report. The FBI, local officials, and volunteers have launched a large search operation in response to Taylor’s disappearance.

Due to the possibility that he is the victim of a serial murderer who has been targeting young men in the Midwest, his case has also garnered national attention.

Update on Taylor Weaver’s Missing: Is There Any Hope for 2023?

Even under these dire circumstances, Taylor’s friends and family are holding out hope that he may still be alive.

To increase public awareness and support for his cause, they have planned vigils, demonstrations, and fundraisers.

Additionally, they have set up a Facebook page named “Find Taylor Weaver” where they exchange information and provide updates.

The FBI claims that there are still leads and hints that might point Taylor in the right direction.

How Was Taylor Weaver Taken Away?

It’s still unclear exactly how Taylor Weaver vanished from sight. Nevertheless, the inquiry has produced a few facts and speculations.

Taylor was an extroverted and well-liked senior at Central High School. He participated in several extracurricular activities, including acting, chess club, and soccer.

After graduation, he intended to attend college and pursue a career in journalism. Taylor got up as normal on March 4th and headed to the school bus.

He didn’t bring any additional possessions or his mobile phone with him. That day, he never made it to school.

A witness claimed to have seen a red pickup vehicle with tinted windows parked close to Taylor’s house at about nine in the morning.

The witness claimed to have seen Taylor strolling on the sidewalk when the car approached him. The driver struck up a discussion with Taylor, seeming to be nice.

Taylor then entered the truck’s passenger side and drove off with the driver, according to the witness.

At the time, the witness assumed Taylor knew the driver or that he was receiving a lift to school, so they didn’t give it much thought.

It wasn’t until later that he reported the incident after seeing Taylor’s photo on the news.

Since 2022, at least four additional young men have been murdered in Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana, and the FBI suspects that the driver of the red pickup truck is the same serial murderer.

The murderer’s method of operation is to entice his victims with pleasant talk, kidnap them, subject them to torture, and then dispose of their remains in isolated areas.

Although the FBI has said that they have discovered physical evidence connecting them, they have not disclosed how they connected the murderer to Taylor’s case.
