24 November 1946, Burlington, Vermont, birth. His mother’s religious parents were ashamed of his illegitimate birth. After giving birth in Vermont, Louise had her son in Philadelphia.
To conceal the fact that he was an illegal child and that his mother was his lover, Bundy was raised as the adopted son of his grandmother. Eleanor traveled to Tacoma, Washington, with his stepfather Johnnie, where they later got married.

Following his second jailbreak, Bundy relocated to Florida. At Florida State, Bundy joined Chi Omega in 1978. Of the four young female renters, two were slain. Kimberly Leach, 12, was kidnapped and killed by Bundy on February 9. The charges were dropped after the arrest in February.
