According to the Associated Press, R&B star Tevin Campbell was obliged to attend Narcotics Anonymous meetings and an AIDS awareness program after accepting a no-contest plea to soliciting a sexual act from an undercover cop.
Campbell, 22, was also given a $1,080 fine on Monday for the misdemeanor conviction stemming from his arrest on July 8 and was also released from jail.
He was instructed to show up in court on February 7 with proof that he has completed the drug rehabilitation and AIDS education requirements of the sentence.
The musician was detained in front of Van Nuys Elementary School during a Los Angeles Police sting operation.
