Thatikonda One of the eight people slain in a mass shooting that occurred at a mall in Texas on May 15th was Aishwarya Reddy, a 27-year-old Indian engineer and the daughter of a judge.
When the filming started, Aishwarya was getting ready for her birthday on May 18 and had finished shopping.
She was shot first, according to her Texas family, and then her buddy, who was sent to the hospital for treatment.
She was excitedly anticipating her birthday since she had worked so hard to fulfill her dream of relocating to the US and finding a decent career.
It was a long time coming, and she was eager to celebrate. Additionally, she had told her family that word had spread on social media that a large number of Indian students were scheduled to meet at the mall for a get-together.
She was characterized by her family as kind-hearted, but a shooter took her life suddenly.
The family calls Hyderabad’s Saroornagar home. After moving to the US four and a half years ago to further her education, Aishwarya finished her MS in Civil Engineering and began working two years ago.
The parents of Aishwarya Thatikonda also intended for her to be married in December and get engaged by October. Once she got a job, Aishwarya wanted to take care of her parents since she was a strong, independent lady.

Aruna, Aishwarya’s mother, and T Narsi Reddy, her father, were born in India. At the Special Court for Trial and Disposal of Commercial Disputes, her father, T Narsi Reddy, is an Additional District Judge.
A few hours before to the filming, Aishwarya had talked with her mother Aruna, and indicated that she was going to buy a birthday gift for a friend.
After learning about the shooting on TV, Aishwarya’s mother, who used to talk to her every day, attempted to phone her daughter but got no answer.
In a panic, Aishwarya’s family members called her friends and family to check on her safety, but they could only receive a response around midnight.
Faculty members at MVSR Engineering College, where Aishwarya’s brother Srikanth also attended, were acquainted with the family.
The vice-principal of the institution, S.V.S. Murthy, said that at Srikanth’s wedding in April 2022, Aishwarya and her father interacted extensively with the professors. There will be a gathering at the campus to offer condolences to Aishwarya.
Following the news, many in the area also sent prayers and condolences to her family and other close relations.
Aishwarya’s companion, who was present at the shopping center during the gunfire, sustained injuries as well. Srinivas Reddy continued by describing Aishwarya as a very watchful daughter.
