On November 5, 1979, Thabo Bester’s parents, whose identities have not been released to the media, allegedly gave birth to him.
Online sources, however, claim that Bester’s mother is named Maria Mabaso. His mother and father are also described as being educators.
Bester’s parents reportedly encouraged him from an early age and desired to provide for his academic needs. As a result, it is said that he has superb academic credentials.
Bester’s family life is mostly unknown, thus we don’t know where his parents are originally from. Thabo appears to have siblings, whose identities are still being investigated, suggesting that he is not only his parents’ lone kid.

Bester allegedly completed his life sentence at the Bloemfontein Mangaung Correctional Facility. In May 2022, the Department of Correctional Services declared Thabo deceased, however, this proved out to be false when he was discovered shopping at a supermarket in Sandton.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding Thabo’s death are still underway, according to the Department of Correctional Services. The authority said that at around 03:35, employees of MCC discovered his corpse.
He is not, however, actually dead, as Bester’s jailbreak was certified by the Department of Correctional Services. He was serving a life term for murder and a slew of rape offenses in the Bloemfontein-based Mangaung Prison at the time.
