The Reason Behind The Mass Shooting in Kwazakhele
It is heartbreaking and unfair to the innocent persons who lost their priceless lives that the Kwazakhele Mass Shooting occurred.
The police minister, Gen. Bheki Cele, visited the families of the victims on January 30 and reassured them that they would not relent until the perpetrators were brought to justice.
The brutality that took place here, in Cele’s words, “clearly shows that those who came here (the shooters) wanted people dead and wanted to destroy families by killing brothers and friends.”
He went on to say that the type of people there “tells you that those criminals have a problem, but they also have to face penalties and give answers.”
Although the precise reason for the Kwazakhele mass shooting has not yet been identified, police are doing all in their power to bring justice to the relatives of the victims.
Update on the Kwazakhele Mass Shooting case@
The search for suspects in the Kwazakhele Mass Shooting is still ongoing.
Col. Priscilla Naidu, a police spokesperson, stated: “Voice notes and a video clip that are circulating in connection with these murders have been made known to police.”
The police have deemed the voice notes and video in issue to be fake news and are recommending the public not to believe what is said. One voice note has been around since the previous year.
The authorities are begging with anyone who gets these notes or videos to not share them since doing so could have terrible consequences for the people who are portrayed there.
The Provincial OCI is asking anyone who may have information about the killings to get in touch with them since they will look into any and all leads, no matter how minor or inconsequential they may seem.
