The eighth season of The Masked Singer will debut on September 21 at 8 p.m. ET. The forthcoming season of the popular singing competition on Fox will feature a new format, themed episodes, costumes, and celebrity guest judges.
The panel of judges and the presenter will, however, stay unchanged. The Masked Singer is a celebrity singing reality show in which renowned singers perform each week while concealed in elaborate costumes.
The winner will receive a substantial sum of money if he or she is able to conceal their identity while delivering great performances over the duration of the competition.
According to the official plot summary of the show:
“THE MASKED SINGER, based on an international hit with over half a billion fans worldwide and the No. 1 top-trending video of 2017 on YouTube, features celebrities competing against one another with a major twist: each singer is covered from head to toe in an elaborate costume, including a full face mask to conceal his or her identity.”

The upcoming season of The Masked Singer will feature a great deal of fresh material. Each competition will feature multiple contestants, but only one will advance.
The studio audience will vote for their favorite vocalist, and the performer who receives the fewest votes will have to reveal their identity in the midst of the show.
On the other side, the eliminated singer would be able to watch the show from the VIP studio. After the introduction of the first celebrity, the next two competitors will perform the same song.
The winner will then join the remaining candidates. In the Semifinals, the three finalists from each of the previous three rounds will compete.
Season 8 will be distinct in that each episode will be devoted to a distinct topic. Each episode is titled differently, including Vegas Night, Comedy Roast, Hall Of Fame, Muppets Night, Andrew Lloyd Webber Night, TV Themes, 90s Night, Thanksgiving, and Fright Night.
The upcoming season will feature Donny Osmond, Andrew Lloyd Webber, The Muppets, Will Arnett, Leslie Jordan, Joel McHale, Tori Spelling, Jon Lovitz, Jodie Sweetin, Carrot Top, Blue Man Group, Lance Bass, Danielle Fishel, Drew Carey, and Sheila E.
Who will participate as a judge in The Masked Singer’s eighth season?
