A well-known South Korean actress named Song Hye Kyo recently rose to fame because of her part in the famous Netflix series “The Glory.” The actress has also developed a different fan following as a result of her appearances in several films, such as Autumn in My Heart (2000), All In (2003), Descendants of the Sun (2016), The Glory (2022), and many more.

On November 22, 1981, in her birthplace of Daegu, South Korea, Song Hye Kyo was born to her mother and father, Song Dae Seob. The actress was in such poor condition when she was born that her parents and the doctors worried she wouldn’t survive. Song’s parents altered the date on her birth certificate from her actual birthdate to February 26, 1982, after she had recovered.
Hye Kyo’s mother raised the artist after her parents divorced when she was a young child. Surprisingly, Song’s mother’s identity, including her name and line of work, remains unknown.
In elementary school, the actress studied figure skating, but she stopped after moving from her hometown of Daegu to Seoul’s Gangnam District in the ninth grade.
A single mother brought up Song Hye Kyo. She spent several years being raised by her grandpa since she lacked a father. After she became famous, the actress’s father consented to an interview and expressed his sadness at having missed his daughter’s growth.
