She was involved in a vehicle accident on August 5 and perished in a hospital on August 11 following another accident. After nearly six months since her passing, her family discussed her.
In August, the coroner declared Heche’s death an accident, citing inhalation and thermal injuries as the cause of her death; no narcotics were found in her body.

Atlas stated, “My mother was the most intelligent person I’ve ever met. She was always able to solve a problem or assist a friend. She always knew the correct action to take. I cannot express how appreciative I am or how much I miss her,”
Her companion shared a statement along with her adolescent son: “Anne and I were together for more than a decade, we have a beautiful son together, and during that time, she was the very definition of light, always bringing joy, love, and vitality into our lives. She will remain in our hearts and souls forever.”
The release of her posthumous memoir, Call Me Anne, on Tuesday has caused her family to grieve.
Many people presumed she was on drugs after hearing about her accident, but she perished because a body part was not functioning properly due to the accident.
Anne Heche Cause of Death
Anne Heche was involved in an accident that resulted in her death, and it was reported that she suffered inhalation and thermal injuries.
On August 5, Heche raced off the road and was involved in a collision; it was reported that she collided with a two-story home in Los Angeles.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident was abruptly in the worst possible condition, resulting in structural damage and a raging fire.
As Hecne’s condition deteriorated, she was rushed to a nearby hospital, where it was confirmed that she had sustained a severe anoxic brain injury as a result of the accident.
On August 11, it was reported that she was unable to treat her anoxic brain injury and required a donor.
After two days, on August 14, a donor was located. That evening, it was confirmed that she died on January 5 from inhalation and thermal injuries, in addition to numerous minor injuries.
It was difficult for her family to care for her for more than a week and witness her taking her last breath in front of them.
