The Prank Panel

On Sunday, July 9, 2023, at 8 p.m. ET, Disney’s ABC is set to premiere The Prank Panel, a brand-new unscripted comedy series.

A panel of the top pranksters in the world will perform the pranks with participants in the innovative programme The Prank Panel after they have pitched their intended pranks on friends, significant others, family members, and coworkers. Hollywood actress Gabourey Sidibe, renowned practical joker Eric Andre, and actor Johnny Knoxville will all be part of the ensemble.

The first episode’s official synopsis is as follows:

“A son’s fear of clowns results in a night of retaliation,” reads the synopsis of “A Daughter Plays a Joke on Her Overprotective Father With a Boyfriend From Hell.”

The debut episode of The Prank Panel will feature, among other things, a daughter playing a practical joke on her overbearing father.

A special preview edition of The Prank Panel, an ABC reality prank show, aired on May 24, 2023, a Wednesday. The Prank Panel’s season premiere was revealed by ABC on its social media channels and in a press release, much to the joy of viewers, with the following statement:

The all-star panel of “pranxperts,” which is made up of Johnny Knoxville, Eric Andre, and Gabourey Sidibe, takes viewers behind the scenes as they help with the plotting and planning of complicated and evil plans. Famous guests occasionally join in on the fun as the Panellists play mentors and saboteurs.

The eagerly awaited programme will give regular people the chance to showcase their funniest practical jokes on friends, family, and other loved ones to a panel of the best practical jokers in the world. Viewers will be treated to a fantastic experience as they go behind the scenes and observe the planning and execution of complex plots thanks to a star-studded ensemble that includes Johnny Knoxville, Eric Andre, and Gabourey Sidibe.

These pranksters serve as instructors and saboteurs, and occasionally well-known visitors engage in the fun. On The Prank Panel, regular people who want to get revenge on someone in their lives will take the stage each week to present their plans to the esteemed group of “Prank-sperts.”

Fans may picture the show as a comedic take on Shark Tank, with aspiring pranksters presenting their outrageous and naughty ideas to a panel of professionals. Based on the pitch, the panel decides whether or not to provide their expertise and help execute the joke.

The clown trick performed by the pranksters, as seen in the advance sneak peeks, set a new standard for clown tricks. It is one of the most unforgettable pranks Johnny Knoxville, who is no stranger to them, has ever been a part of. This happens when a woman comes up to the panel and says she wants to play a joke on her son since he has a really bad clown phobia.

She is, however, played for a fool. The special preview has established the tone for what will occur in upcoming episodes of the show. The Prank Panel, an eccentric reality series on ABC, will premiere its much awaited second season on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET.
