Jason Genao, better known as Ruby from ‘On My Block,’ has recently achieved huge notoriety as a result of his part. Viewers have praised his endearing demeanor and superb acting abilities.
However, health concerns have been raised about the actor, and suspicions about his handicap have been addressed.

The Disability Rumor Regarding Jason Genao
Jason does not have any major disabilities or illnesses. He has, however, had a few health issues in the past. While it is not a disability, Jason Genao appears to have an eye bag condition.
Fans may have seen it as well, particularly during season two of ‘On My Block.’ Ruby, Jason’s character, is going through a lot and dealing with the trauma from season one (no spoilers! ), therefore he has a displeased expression throughout the season.
In reality, though, Genao may have attained the look due to a lack of sleep. He has repeatedly stated that he does not get enough sleep.
As a result, it is possible that his big eye bags are caused by this rather than a disability.
A concerned admirer rushed to Twitter to inquire about Jason’s eye bags.
“What’s the deal with the eye bags, Jason?”
“Do you get enough sleep?”
The fan stated.
Jason responded,
“Not since 2004.”
In another tweet, he admitted to not having slept in years!

Fans, on the other hand, have adored his on-screen appearance, eye bags or no eye bags! Fans are lured by his effortless acting abilities.
Aside from that, he had a serious health risk when he was in an automobile accident. While the incident did not result in any handicap or significant harm, he stated that it left him frightened, and he is still extremely cautious when driving.
Another concern that individuals may have about Jason is his height. He is 5’1″ shorter than the normal male lead in Hollywood. Jason also revealed that he suffered height discrimination during the casting process.
“Once upon a time, there was a role available, and the casting director fell in love with me.”

“You might simply be a bit too short,” they said, he told Vulture.
Similarly, he hopes for people to “stop casting against what they believe the tale should look like.” Indeed, it is past time to stop evaluating people based on their appearances.
Furthermore, the actor wishes for his talent and versatility to be recognized for what they are. He stated,
When they’re casting something, I want them to look at me and say, “I think he can do it.”
Genao is an excellent illustration of this. Despite his height disadvantage in comparison to other performers, fans have appreciated him exclusively for his character representation on-screen.
That is the most important thing for an actor. Genao’s boyhood desire of becoming an actor has now come true. He discovered his passion for performing when he was nine years old, and he has worked hard to realize his aspirations.
Jason Genao is a hardworking actor. He works hard and does his study and homework for whatever character he’s playing, and it shows on screen perfectly.
