The True Reason For Emma Slater And Sasha Farber’s Breakup

Emma Slater

Emma Slater and Sasha Farber have been together on and off stage until lately. The former partners on Dancing With The Stars are no longer friends in real life.

Her separation from her husband of four years sent shockwaves through the internet, but the couple did not make a big issue out of it. Long before their separation was made public, their silence and his behavior on Instagram screamed volumes.

Emma Slater and Sasha Farber split several months ago

Us Weekly was the first to report Slater and Farber’s separation. On August 24, they declared their separation after receiving confirmation from insider sources. Nonetheless, it took some time for the news to reach the media.

When the news surfaced, a source told Us Weekly, “They’ve been separated for several months.” They have both stopped wearing their wedding bands and are currently leading different lives.

According to the source, the split was “tough” because they had been together for so long and shared fur babies. Despite their separation and months of living separate lives, they had not yet filed for divorce.

Regardless of their personal issues, they were determined to succeed professionally on DWTS. The breakup rumors have circulated for some time. These began when the ex-couple stopped posting photos of one other to their own Instagram pages.

In addition, they did not celebrate or discuss anything noteworthy on their wedding anniversary in March 2022. Many also observed Farber liking the Instagram photos of other women, which many interpreted as a sign that their relationship had ended.

The facts of their divorce have not been disclosed, nor have they issued an official statement. Due to their status as reality TV stars, they will likely explain the situation sooner rather than later.

Emma Slater and Sasha Farber’s nuptials

Slater and Farber are no strangers to breakups; this is actually their second. The relationship, which began in 2011, ended in 2014. Slater stated at the time that their relationship had turned them from romantic partners to best friends.

“I will forever be his best friend,” she told Glamour at the time. But their separation was brief. In 2016, he proposed to her on live television following their performance on Dancing with the Stars. Two years later, they were married.

The now-divorced couple tied the knot at Bella Blanca in Los Angeles, California, on March 25, 2018. Ruby was already one of their dogs at this time.

Their second dog, Grinch, arrived a bit later. Slater admitted in July 2021 that, despite having fur children and living with Farber for a long period, she did not believe the timing was right to have human children with him. She would not rule out buying a new dog, however.

Her hesitancy was despite her awareness of her advancing age and her ex-desire husband to start a family. She stated that she was really focused on her career and that she may not consider children for some time.

During the interview, she commented,

“There wouldn’t be any problems if he could carry the baby.”

In the near future, there will be no baby news for those who shipped the couple. But who can say? As they have in the past, perhaps Slater and her ex-husband will reconcile.
