Thomas Andrew Felton, better known as Tom Felton, is a British actor best known for playing Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series, a role he has played since the age of thirteen. Felton, who was born in the United Kingdom, began acting at a young age, appearing in various commercials. He made his film debut at the age of 10 in ‘The Borrowers,’ a 1997 British-American live-action fantasy comedy picture. By 2001, he had gained international acclaim for his depiction of Draco Malfoy in ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.’ Felton, who had previously auditioned for the roles of Harry Potter and Ron Weasley, played Malfoy in all of the Harry Potter films.
Following his popularity in the film series, he appeared in a few TV shows, including ‘Labyrinth,’ ‘Full Circle,’ and ‘Murder in the First.’ ‘The Apparition,’ a supernatural horror-thriller in which he portrays Patrick, a college student confronting supernatural forces, and ‘Against the Sun,’ a survival drama film in which he plays Tony Pastula, a US Navy Airman, are two more films in which he has appeared. Felton also enjoys music and has released a few Extended Plays, including ‘All I Need’ and ‘Hawaii.’ He’s also published a few singles, including ‘Time Isn’t Healing’ and ‘If You Could Be Anywhere.’

Thomas Andrew Felton was born in Epsom, England on September 22, 1987. Sharon and Peter Felton are his parents. They have four children, the youngest of whom is Thomas. Ashley, Jonathan, and Chris are his elder brothers.
He attended Cranmore School in West Horsley and then the Howard of Effingham School. Felton began singing at a young age and joined a choir at the age of seven. He also sang in four school choirs.

Tom Felton began his career as a child actor in commercials for firms such as Commercial Union and Barclaycard. He first appeared as a voice actor in the television series ‘Bugs,’ and then as an actor in the 1997 film ‘The Borrowers.’ He starred in another popular biographical play, ‘Anna and The King,’ two years later. His stardom skyrocketed after he appeared in ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,’ a 2001 fantasy picture based on JK Rowling’s best-selling novel of the same name. His portrayal of the hostile Draco Malfoy was well received.
He reprised the role in the subsequent films, ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002), ‘Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban’ (2004), and ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’ (2006). Felton played a big role in the picture, with stars Joseph Fiennes, Peter Firth, and Cliff Curtis. It was a moderate success, with generally mediocre reviews.

Tom Felton has received numerous honors for his performance in the Harry Potter film series. Among them are the ‘MTV Movie Award’ for ‘Best Villain’ in 2009 for ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,’ and the ‘Teen Choice Award’ for ‘Choice Movie Villain’ in 2010 ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows- Part 1.’
