Tiffany Haddish Discusses The Allegation And Lawsuit Against Jane Doe

Tiffany Haddish

Tiffany Haddish has addressed the molestation and grooming claims made against her in Los Angeles County Superior Court, California. Jane Doe, age 22, has filed a lawsuit against herself and the comedian Aries Spears.

According to the allegations filed by Doe on behalf of herself and her 15-year-old brother, John Doe, Haddish and Spears pressured the minors into recording s*xually suggestive sequences in many comedic skits.

The lawsuit claims that the plaintiffs were “groomed” between the ages of seven and fourteen, leaving the siblings “forever traumatized.” Tiffany Haddish responded to the incident on her social media channel, providing a detailed explanation.

She declared:

“I’m sure folks have a lot of questions. I understand. I am adjacent to you. Due to an ongoing legal case, I am limited in what I can say at the moment. Despite the fact that this routine was plainly intended to be humorous, it was not funny at all, and I regret agreeing to participate in it. I’m eager to discuss this situation in greater detail as soon as feasible.”

Tiffany Haddish’s charges

Haddish and Aries Spears have been charged with deliberate infliction of mental distress, gross negligence, sexual assault, sexual harassment, and sexual abuse of a minor.

Tiffany Haddish is also accused of being a careless manager who failed to issue a warning. The comedian is being sued for breach of fiduciary duty and fraud.

According to the complaint information obtained by TMZ, the 14-year-old girl and her 7-year-old brother were forced to take part in the explicit performance.

Supposedly, one of the recordings from the performance shows Haddish instructing the minor on how to act out an intimate moment. Haddish allegedly brought the minor to a residence where she and Spears sexually assaulted him while recording a “Through a Pedophile’s Eyes” video for Funny Or Die.

People Magazine was informed by Funny Or Die that the alleged video was “removed in 2018 shortly after becoming aware of its existence.” They continued by saying:

“Funny Or Die thought this video was terrible, and they would never make such content again. We had no hand in creating, developing, financing, or producing this video. It was placed on the website as user-generated content…”

The complaint, as reported by People, states:

“Both plaintiffs were minors who could not consent to their involvement in sexually explicit recordings uploaded to the ‘Funny or Die’ website… There were no parents or guardians present.”

The attorney for Tiffany Haddish responds

John Doe, age 14, stated in a statement that Spears and Haddish served him an intoxicating beverage. According to the complaint, Haddish also provided the siblings with $100.

Tiffany Haddish’s attorney, Andrew Brettler, told Variety that the case was “without validity” and that the children’s mother had “been trying for many years to make these false charges against Ms. Haddish.”

The statement continued by saying:

“As it became clear that the claims were without merit and that Ms. Haddish would not be extorted, every attorney who initially took on her case, and there were many, finally dropped the matter. In this case, Ms. Morris is now represented by her adult daughter. Together, they shall bear the consequences of their foolish behavior.”
