Tim is a newscaster for BBC World News and BBC News Channel. Willcox started his career as a newspaper journalist, working for the Mirror Group and Fleet Street News Agency.
Willcox spent a number of years working for ITN as a journalist and presenter on television.
After joining the news team, he reported live from New York City during the terrorist events on September 11, 2001 as the network’s Arts and Media Correspondent.

The three senior presenters have decided to voluntarily leave the BBC after decades of combined service.
Gosling is expected to leave at the end of January, therefore Eades has already performed his last scene. Willcox has not yet made his leaving date known.
