Jennifer Lopez can be seen in an action-packed avatar in the first commercial of The Mother which was released at Netflix’s TUDUM event.
Jennifer Lopez is all prepared to shatter our minds in her forthcoming film, The Mother. A teaser trailer of the film was recently revealed at Netflix’s TUDUM event and the compelling ad has left fans begging for more.
The first commercial of the film presents Lopez as a dangerous assassin. After being forced to give up her kid to keep her safe from her adversaries, years later, Lopez’s character comes back to defend her when a severe threat comes knocking.
The teaser of The Mother begins with Lopez doing pull-ups in an icy environment. The promo also displays her character shooting a sniper weapon in what might be military camouflage.
There’s also a scene when Jennifer is seen saving her daughter as the couple drives off on a bike. . The film stars The Handmaid’s Tale’s actor Joseph Fiennes as the major antagonist who may be seen in a glance in the teaser.
The Mother also stars Lucy Paez as the daughter, Omari Hardwick, Paul Raci, and Gael García Bernal in significant parts. Not only this, the singer has another project with Netflix coming up which has been dubbed Atlas and is a sci-fi thriller about a rogue A.I., opposite Shang Chi and the Ten Rings star Simu Liu and Sterling K. Brown.
While the teaser trailer of The Mother was revealed at TUDUM, the film’s release date hasn’t yet been established, but it is known that the picture will come in May 2023.
