Travis Michael Maldonado, the late celebrity spouse, was born in California on March 22, 1994. He is one of Danny and Cheryl Maldonado’s three children. Travis was born and raised primarily in San Bernardino County, where he also completed his high school education.

After years of marriage, the couple continued their union until Travis’s unexpected death caught everyone off guard. Joe told Texas Monthly, “My entire soul died,” when the news of Travis’s passing initially surfaced.

What Caused Travis Maldonado’s Death? Did He Kill Himself?
On October 6, 2017, Travis passed away. Tragically, a self-inflicted wound caused his death rather than suicide. Travis was having fun and showing off his Ruger pistol to a staff member at the zoo gift shop at the time.
It seems that he was experimenting with something he had read online. Even though there was still a bullet in the chamber, Travis was informed by the internet that the gun would not fire if he took the magazine out. However, regrettably, it did ignite, killing him nearly immediately. Before the first responder arrived on the scene, he had passed away.
Joe’s death broke him. Finlay remembered that Joe was a disaster the last time he visited him following Travis’s passing. He was nothing like the guy he usually was. Finlay went to his house to look for him and saw him sitting in the garage, holding a gun and crying.
