South Korean women’s group TWICE was created by JYP Entertainment. The nine individuals who make up the group are Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. The group’s first English-language hit song, The Feels, was featured on their third Korean studio album, Formula of Love: O+T=3, which was released in November 2021.
The renowned K-pop girl group TWICE finished their U.S. tour on February 27, 2022. While the band gave the audience a memorable experience, Momo shared a distressing story during the concert’s last song. Momo claimed in an interview that she had experienced excruciating anguish as a result of hitting her head while getting ready for her prior performance.

During their next-to-last concert at the USB Arena in New York City, TWICE members shared their stories live on TikTok. When talking about their fantastic event, Momo, a member of the group, admitted that she made a mistake backstage. Before the women sang SCIENTIST on stage, the singer announced that she had recently had a concussion. The group frequently remained hunched over upon returning to the stage, she said, adding that a low barrier was constructed backstage close to where they changed into their clothing for the next performance.
She claimed that because she was so happy with how well the previous performance went, she neglected to bend down and as a result hit her head on a large pillar. She also bit her tongue so hard that it immediately began to bleed. Momo had been so traumatized by her wounds that she had lost her memories and started crying. As stated by the artist,
“I went to Jeongyeon and implored him, ‘What should I do?’ since I was in a state where I thought I was about to lose my memory.”
Momo claimed to be in excruciating pain and to be sobbing, but she nevertheless entered the stage with the other performers to perform SCIENTIST. She stated:
My eyes were having trouble focusing. I cried and thought to myself, “What should I do?
During the live broadcast, TWICE’s Jeongyeon praised Momo’s performance despite her ailments. Since they didn’t have much time to change before playing the song, all of the members raced, and anyone could have fallen and hit their head like Momo, according to Nayeon.
All of the group members were worried after Momo suffered an injury. According to Chaeyoung, she was so concerned about Momo that she failed to remember the word, SCIENTIST. She disclosed,
“When I forgot to sing my line and instead sang half the words, I was thinking about you.”
To keep an eye on Momo during the performance, Mina also claimed that she made mistakes in her choreography. Momo had no memory of playing the music after the incident because the effects of the accident were so severe.

The group’s supporters, ONCE, immediately took to social media to express their annoyance after seeing and hearing the comments. In addition, they praised Momo for her great performance despite her head injury.
Supporters claim that Momo has previously suffered from head injuries. The lead dancer on Knowing Bros described a similar incident. Her friend had thrown her against the wall, causing her head to hemorrhage. After the incident, her grades began to drop and her English skills got worse.
