Ty Jerome was born on the 7th of July in the year 1997, in New York City. He was raised by parents Mark Jerome and Michelle Walker. Moreover, he comes from a white ethnic background and holds an American nationality.

Also in his sophomore year, he started as the Cavaliers. It was where he made a rise in his career gaining 31 points against Boston College on December 30th, 2017.
Before season 2018-2019, he got selected to the All-ACC Second Team pre-season. He was named one of the ten finalists on February 4, 2019, for Bob Cousy Award. It was then he got recognized as the top college point guard of the nation. In addition, he also was among an early second-round selection in the 2019 NBA draft in most mock drafts.
Also at the beginning of 2019 NBA Draft, Jerome announced his intention to abandon his final season of college eligibility and hire an agent after the season end.
On June 20, 2019, Jerome was the 24th pick for Philadelphia 76ers in the 2019 NBA draft. Also, same year July 6 the Phoenix sun announced the recruitment of Jerome. However, he injured his right ankle on October 21, leaving him out indefinitely. He also was assigned to Northern Arizona Suns on November 25 but lost the game against Iowa Wolves.
Jerome finally made the debut in NBA on December 2, 2019, with the win over the Charlotte Hornets with four points four assists, three rebounds, and three steals in just 12 minutes of play. However, lost two consecutive matches with Orlando Magic and Houston Rockets.
