It happens when the immune system of the body unintentionally attacks itself and damages healthy tissues.
It is chronic because it lasts a very long time and impacts several organs. When Sjögren’s syndrome first appears, it usually does so independently.
When Sjögren’s syndrome manifests alongside another autoimmune disease like lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, or systemic sclerosis, it is referred to as secondary or related to the condition.
Currently, there is no cure for this illness.
Venus Williams’ personal life
Venus and Serena Williams’ assistant and older sister Yetunde Price was fatally shot in 2003 in Compton, California.
The sisters had previously trained at the courts beside the venue.

After learning of the news, she adopted a vegan diet and reduced her intake of carbohydrates and calories to get back in shape.
Williams earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Indiana University East in 2015.
She began her studies for the degree in 2011 thanks to a reciprocal agreement between the college and the Women’s Tennis Association, which allows players to play tennis professionally while pursuing their education online.
