Wade Wilson was born in Texas on February 1, 1959. Football coach and former player who has served as the quarterback’s coach for the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys. As a player, he was named to the 1988 Pro Bowl as the quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings and won Super Bowl XXX as a backup to Troy Aikman on the Dallas Cowboys. He played under longtime Vikings head coach Bud Grant in Minnesota. He won a district championship as a quarterback and punter at Commerce High School. He later attended Texas A&M University-Commerce, then called East Texas State University.

An American football coach and former quarterback who spent seventeen years in the National Football League with the Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, Dallas Cowboys, and Oakland Raiders between 1981 and 1998. (NFL). From 2000 to 2002 and 2007 to 2017, he was the Dallas Cowboys’ quarterbacks coach, and from 2004 to 2006, he was the Chicago Bears’ quarterbacks coach. 1st He was an NAIA All-American Quarterback for East Texas State University (now Texas A&M University-Commerce) in college football, where he led the Lions to the NAIA national semifinals in 1980.
