Jacob Vanzant was neither married nor had a wife. However, he was romantically involved with his fiancée, whose name is Celestial Riate.
It is unknown when and how the couple met, but based on their social media postings, it is possible that they have been dating for quite some time.
According to her Facebook bio, Celestial began courting Vanzant officially on June 13, 2014. Vanzant and Celestial’s relationship was adored by many because they displayed their relationship on their social media accounts.

As stated previously, Jacob Vanzant and Celestial Riate were not married; however, based on their social media postings, it appears that they intended to wed. They had also begun their own family.
On June 5, 2022, the couple’s family and close friends gathered to commemorate their baby shower. Celestial shared some special experiences on Facebook.
It appears that Celestial has already given birth, as she posted a photo of herself in the hospital on Facebook. Jacob was seen carrying an infant in the same video.
In addition, Celestial is lamenting her partner’s demise at the present time. She honored Jacob by sharing some of their photographs and videos. Riate wrote, “I am aware that you are currently holding our daughter and observing us. You are at rest.”
How Did Jacob Vanzant Fare?
Jacob Vanzant disappeared on February 17, 2023, with his last known location being the Shangri La Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar. Jacob was wearing a dark windbreaker, dark trousers, and black boots at the time he went missing.
During this period, Jacob operated a Honda Pilot bearing the license plate number 5JBC311. According to reports, Vanzant vanished after ordering takeout for his longstanding girlfriend.
On April 15, 2023, Vanzant was discovered by a team of volunteer divers. They located a submerged automobile in a slough in San Joaquin County, where they discovered Jacob’s remains.
The investigation team also believes that the car collision was an accident because Jacob’s vehicle was discovered at the end of a road that leads into the water if one is not careful.
