In a remarkable comeback triumph, she defeated Tunisian ace Ons Jabeur 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 in the championship match.
With a career-high rating of number 12 by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), she is now the top female tennis player in Kazakhstan.
The 23-year-old has advanced to nine singles WTA Tour finals, winning two of them.
Rybakina defeated Victoria Azarenka in the 2023 Australian Open semifinals to get to her second Grand Slam final.
