The imaginary Addams family was created by American cartoonist Charles Addams. Approximately half of the original 150 single-panel cartoons were published in The New Yorker for 50 years beginning in 1938.
They were then adapted into various types of media such as movies, video games, comic books, a musical, and merchandise. Pubert Addams is the name of Gomez and Morticia Addams’ newborn baby. He is also the younger brother of Wednesday and Pugsley Addams. His feature film debut came in Addams Family Values.
In the 1960s TV series, Charles Addams proposed the name “Pubert” for the character Pugsley; however, the name was discarded due to fears that network censors would prohibit it. Pubert was played by Kaitlyn Hooper and Kristen Hooper, with Cheryl Chase providing the voice.

Pubert Addams is launched into the air by a bowling ball and lands in the basement, where Debbie is attempting to electrocute his family. He connects two cords, electrocuting her as he does so. Pubert is a mustachioed child who appears to be spared from death by accident on several occasions. He never uses a bow, but he does occasionally fire fiery arrows.
His siblings Wednesday and Pugsley constantly threaten his life after his birth, once he has been taken home and calmed by the teddy bear and knife mobile because they assume he is a substitute for one of them. He often avoids their strikes by chance, but he has stopped a guillotine by himself.
Later, when Debbie Jellinsky is hired as a babysitter, she ties Pubert to the desk while going through Fester’s stuff and refers to him as a brat. She also protects Pubert from the deadly efforts of his siblings.
What Has Happened to Pubert Addams?
Pubert Addams was performed by Kaitlyn and Kristen Hooper. After making their cinematic debut as Pubert Addams, the Hooper twins featured on an episode of Home Improvement as twins Claire and Gracie Taylor.
Before moving to the University of Redlands, Kaitlyn and Kristen attended Santa Ana College and pursued their passion for softball before abandoning acting. Although Kaitlyn and Kristen can carry off a mustache, many people believe they look better without one.
In 1993, the year of his formal debut, Pubert was shown as a little child. He is distinguished from other newborns, though, by his unusual mustache and his intermittent ability to fire flaming arrows. Pubert has only been featured in Addams Family Values, thus this tribute to the franchise’s history is brief.
Charles Addams created the fictitious Addams Family’s father, Gomez Addams, for The New Yorker magazine. His characters have since appeared on television, in films, and on the stage.
Parents of Pubert Adams
In Charles Addams’ earliest drawings, Addams was the family patriarch who went by the nameless. He was regularly seen reading in the den or lounging on the ledge.
Morticia Addams, Gomez Addams’ wife, is the mother of Wednesday, Pugsley, and Pubert Addams. The creature was initially featured in Charles Addams’ drawings for The New Yorker magazine in the 1930s. The drawings did not include the names of any of the family members.
