“On June 29th, I was notified that Bell Media made a ‘business choice’ to discontinue my contract, bringing to a sudden halt my long career with CTV News,”
“Bell Media’s decision caught me off guard, and I’m still astonished and disappointed by it. To convey more of the stories that have an impact on our daily lives, I still believed I had a lot more time.

After undergoing significant stomach surgery in October 2021, Lisa LaFlamme is in good health.CTV tweeted in October 2021 that Lisa had taken a sick leave after undergoing extensive stomach surgery. The tweet stated:
