The critically acclaimed film The Whale marks the triumphant comeback of Brendan Fraser, star of The Mummy series. Fraser stated in an interview with Variety regarding the upcoming film that he is willing to appear in future installments of The Mummy.

“I’m not sure how that would work, but I’d be open to it if someone came up with the right notion.”
Between 1999 and 2008, Brendan Fraser portrayed action hero Rick O’Connell in three consecutive The Mummy films. Throughout the years, The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, and The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor have remained popular.
