On July 29, Season 6 of Ready To Love will premiere on OWN with twenty new singles. The upcoming season will be hosted by Tommy or Thomas Miles, who will advise the contestants to pursue “love rather than lust.”

The well-known host and comedian have a net worth of approximately $10 million. In addition to being a comedian, screenwriter, and film producer, he is also an entrepreneur.

Season 2 of the dating program is produced by Will Packer, Kelly Smith of Will Packer Media, Jeff Spangler, and Rob LaPlante of Lighthearted Entertainment.

Thomas Miles from Season 6 of Ready to Love has a degree in theater

Thomas “Uncle Tommy” Miles, born on May 18, 1967, received a bachelor’s degree in theatre from Texas A&M University. In addition to pursuing his degree, he joined the Royal Shakespeare Company. Thomas was cast in multiple parts by the theater company.

At the beginning of his acting career, he won a starring role in the crime thriller film N-Secure by David M. Matthews (2010). The Heart Specialist (2011), a romantic comedy directed, written, and co-produced by Dennis Cooper, marked his subsequent appearance.

He also participated in the 2012 comedy film Think Like a Man, which was based on the book Act Like a Lady, Thinks Like a Man by Steve Harvey (2009). The film was a massive success, grossing $96.1 million.

After dabbling in acting, the Ready to Love host became prominent in stand-up comedy. He performed at the Essence Music Festival as Luther Vandross’s opener. He also recorded an hour-long special at the renowned Motor City Casino in Detroit, which is popular among stand-up comedians.

Miles is also well-known for hosting radio programs. He joined Steve Harvey, Shirley Strawberry, and Carla Ferrell on The Steve Harvey Morning Show, a radio program that premiered in 2000 and continues to air.

Steve Harvey and Rushion McDonald created a popular radio program. Due to the popularity of the radio program, it was converted into television as Steve Harvey Projects on Centric.

Tommy was picked to host the program and became an instant fan favorite due to his witty comments and humorous prank calls.

In addition, his prank calls were so popular that he released seven studio albums containing them, including Nephew Tommy’s Prank Phone Calls: Volumes 1 through 6, Nephew Tommy’s Celebrity Prank Phone Calls, and Nephew Tommy’s Lost Prank Phone Calls: Parts 1 and 2.

During a visit to military facilities in the Middle East with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, he also developed a deep understanding of the military sector.

As a result, he founded the charity Miles of Giving, which aids former/retired/wounded servicemen. The premiere episode of Ready To Love will air on CBS at 8 p.m. ET on July 29.
