The two-time Oscar winner recently admitted in a frank television appearance that she is terribly homesick and never wants to work again.

Although Blanchett has intimated that this might be her final role in a major motion picture, the actress is predicted to win another Oscar for her most recent performance.

The Australian actress who lives in Los Angeles and won an award for her role in the upcoming psychological drama Tár said to The Sunday Project that she doesn’t “want to work again” and is “profoundly homesick.”

She was still processing the emotional toll the difficult film, in which she plays the fictional Lydia Tár, a world-famous pianist, had placed on her.

Additionally, Blanchett, who has spent the last three decades in the entertainment industry, claimed that after relocating to Los Angeles in 2015 with her husband Andrew Upton and their four children, she has experienced extreme homesickness.
