Numerous details about his relationship with Amber and Amber’s relationship with her parents were revealed in Johnny Depp’s libel action against The Sun. Amber once stated in court that when Depp binged on alcohol, he was far worse than his violent father.
Amber said that Deep went on 36-hour cocaine and drink binge in March 2013 because he thought she was having an extramarital affair. Heard continued by stating that although her father had abused her mother, it was nothing compared to what Depp had done. ET Canada quotes Amber as saying:
“My father beat my mother, but they were much in love. Depp makes my father look like a saint when he slips off the wagon. My father spent his entire life battling alcohol misuse concerns. Although he was quite abusive and an addict, I adore him.

After Amber Heard received a restraining order against Johnny, her mother reached out to him for assistance. Amber Heard and Depp parted ways in May 2016, and she also got a restraining order against him. She alleged that throughout their whole relationship, Depp had been verbally and physically violent.

My mother turned sixty-one yesterday. The first one is supposed to be the hardest. Although nothing would ever make me miss her or be able to wish her a happy birthday any less, I sincerely hope that is the case.
