Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz announced the news of Lindsay Clancy’s arrest on Tuesday for allegedly murdering her son Dawson, who was three years old, and daughter Cora, who was five. Clancy was attempting suicide when her husband Patrick returned home.
The woman and her seven-month-old infant, whom she attempted to murder but is still alive and receiving treatment, are both presently in police custody at a hospital in Boston.

Arrest and charges against Lindsay Clancy
Lindsay was brought into custody by the police on January 25, 2023, after the acquisition of a warrant. Lindsay was not in good health, thus she has been receiving care at a nearby hospital.
Two charges of murder, three counts of suffocation, and three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon were filed against Clancy at the time of his arrest.

“They were beautiful, beautiful children,” the children’s aunt, Donna Jesse, said. “It’s pretty shocking,” the children’s great-grandmother added.

Still, Clancy’s infant kid, who is three months old, is clinging to life while receiving care at Massachusetts General Hospital, where Clancy served as a nurse.
