Where Are Kathy And David Boudin? Parents

Former District Attorney Chesa comes from a family with a complex and singular history. Trained by his parents, David Gilbert and Kathy Boudin, the individual in question was brought into the world amidst radical Marxist endeavors.

American radical communist David Gilbert was implicated in the heinous 1981 hijacking of a Brinks armored vehicle.

Chesa was 14 months old when his Weather Underground-affiliated parents entrusted him to a caregiver so they could participate in the armored car heist.

In a New York suburb, the heist tragically degenerated into a nightmare in which two police officers and a Brinks truck security were killed.

Kathy Boudin, the mother of Chesa, was a major participant in this heinous act and was sentenced to 23 years in prison for felony homicide in connection with the Brinks robbery. In 2003, she was granted release on parole.

The Boudin family was once more beset by tragedy on May 1, 2022, when 78-year-old Kathy Boudin passed away in New York City. She had spent the previous seven years battling cancer.

Gilbert was sentenced to 75 years to life in prison for his alleged involvement in the crime, which included robbery and homicide, even though he was unarmed. His release occurred in 2021.
