The matriarch of a vast family is Julie Andrews. In her 86 years on earth, she has been married twice and has five in children total.
However, only one of these is biological. She had her first spouse as her only biological parent, and her second marriage brought her two stepchildren.

Tony Walton was Andrews’ first spouse and a set designer. On May 10, 1959, she married him, and in 1962, their daughter Emma Kate was born.
After their divorce in 1968, Andrews went on and wed filmmaker Blake Edwards in 1969. For Edwards, who had two children with his first wife, it was also his second marriage.

Emma Walton Hamilton
On November 27, 1962, at The London Clinic in London, Emma Kate Walton was conceived. She spent parts of her childhood living in London, Los Angeles, and New York City.
In 1991, she wed Stephen Hamilton, adopting the name Emma Walton Hamilton. They have a boy named Sam Hamilton and a daughter named Hope Mariah Hamilton who was born on August 17, 2003.
Emma and her mother have worked together on a variety of projects, primarily writing projects. Together, they have written numerous books, including her memoir Home Work: A Memoir of My Hollywood Years, which was released in 2019.
Emma is a children’s book author, actress, director, and MFA-level educator in addition to being a writer.
Amy Leigh Edwards
Edwards and Andrews yearned for their children. But the couple never experienced it. So, to satisfy their desires, they turned to adoption.
Amy Leigh Edwards, the actress’s first adopted child, was brought into the world in 1974. They adopted her when she was barely two months old from an orphanage in Vietnam.
Amy now has her own family. According to rumors, she has a son named Maximilian Scheff from a previous relationship with a man named Lauren Scheff.
In an interview with Now To Love in October 2015, she described adopting Amy as “Amy came into our lives and it was fantastic.” But even one didn’t satisfy them.

Andrews received Joanna Edwards, her second adopted daughter, three months after adopting Amy.
“We remarked, “We are aware that you won’t be able to continue doing this for long. If you would like to send us another one before the South falls, please do,” “She remembered mentioning something to the orphanage. They did, too.
In 1975, Joanna joined the Edwards family at the age of barely five months.

She became a stepmother to Jennifer and Geoffrey Edwards during her marriage to Edwards. Her girls were almost adults when she adopted them.
Geoffrey and Jennifer both work in the entertainment industry. Geoffrey is a filmmaker who hasn’t recently produced anything, and Jennifer is an actress with around 36 acting credits to her name.
After kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids
Andrews began to stop acting because he had three girls at home to care for. She took time off and, at times, she quit working altogether.
She said,
“I wanted to be there.” “to prepare a healthy protein-rich breakfast for them before they leave for school. Must attend parent-teacher conferences.”
She also took pleasure in parenting her children, particularly the adopted ones. Getting the girls to adjust to American society and life was the hardest challenge.
In 1977, Andrews told People, “It’s been delightful to watch two pale, sad-eyed animals bloom.”
Although she doesn’t talk much about her family, she occasionally brings up the fact that all of her children are now adults. She currently has three great-grandchildren and nine grandchildren.
Kayti, Hannah, Isabelle, Hank, Maximilian, Sam, Hope, and an additional one whose name we don’t yet know makes up her grandchildren. Her great-grandchildren go by the names Shealy, Kadden, and Ever.
