Amanda Markert

Former waitress at a Hooters who is now a VIP hostess, Amanda Markert is most known as the mother of Paul D. DelVecchio, also known as Pauly D., who stars on the MTV reality series Jersey Shore.

Although Amanda and Pauly first hooked up with the sole intention of a one-time thing, their relationship has since become complicated. But Markert ultimately became pregnant during that time.

The former couple, who never had a romantic relationship, are now parents to a daughter. Their timing involves a somewhat complex plan. The story of Markert involves more than just a waitress having a brief encounter with a reality star.

She has experienced her fair share of drama, including her contentious relationships with her children’s fathers and the custody dispute over her daughter.

Born in New Jersey in 1988, Amanda, whose real name is Amareda Markert, was raised there. She will be 34 years old in 2022. She spent the most of her childhood years in her hometown, where she also finished her education.

Markert attended Absegami High School in Absecon, New Jersey, where she graduated in 2005, according to one of her prior Facebook names. Then, in Mays Landing, New Jersey, she enrolled at Atlantic Cape Community College.

Former Hooters employee Amanda Markert

As previously mentioned, the now 34-year-old Markert was a waitress at Hooters. She worked as a cocktail server at Hooters and the Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City for a while.

Some people think Markert is now employed at Pool After Dark in Atlantic City as a hostess with VIP bottle service.

Her work life’s progress has remained mostly a mystery, especially given how private she keeps her personal life. The mother of Pauly D, Amanda Lynn, has a moderately active Facebook page where she primarily posts images of her family, whether they are gathered together or not.

Around the middle of 2012, Markert met DJ Pauly D, a Jersey Shore celebrity. The latter was performing as a DJ at a club, a Rehab pool party at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas.

Markert apparently tweeted about her encounter with Pauly D shortly after meeting the MTV star. The two became intoxicated soon after getting to know one another, and they later had a child. On May 15, 2013, Markert and Pauly D welcomed their daughter, Amabella Sophia Markert.

According to sources at the time, their one-night stand in Vegas marked “the only time they’ve ever been together.” Markert allegedly departed town the next morning after their connection.

The DJ, who was born in Rhode Island, and Amanda have never been in a relationship and haven’t in all these years. In actuality, Pauly was unaware that he was the father of Amabella until Markert threatened to sue him for paternity. Naturally, the native of Providence was not present when Markert gave birth to Amabella.

The DNA test was later accepted by Pauly D, and the results confirmed that the TV celebrity was Amabella’s biological father. Pauly expressed his joy at becoming a father to US Weekly and expressed excitement about starting the then-new road of fatherhood.

Although it took some time before Pauly realized he was father to a girl, soon after the fact, he and Markert would become embroiled in a highly contentious custody dispute. The main cause of the legal dispute was Markert’s demand that DelVecchio pay child support but deny him any parenting rights.

Pauly D, the father of her child, didn’t want children, she claimed. According to reports, he advised her to get an abortion. Amanda claimed to have screenshots of some damning texts from the G-Unit Records performer asking her to end her pregnancy. However, Markert disagreed.

She claimed on Twitter that other from the money he offered her for an abortion, Pauly D didn’t provide any financial support for her while she was carrying his child. But Markert paid for maternity care with that money.

She added that she was solely responsible for covering the cost of the doctor’s visits.

Due to all of these allegations, Pauly D fought Markert for full custody of their daughter, claiming that his baby mother’s employment at Hooters rendered her unqualified to raise Amabella.

In addition, he charged his infant mother with abusing his daughter in the name of fame and money. According to Hollywood Life, Pauly also claimed that he received Markert’s promise that she was using birth control during their first encounter.
