Ron married Margo Rey, a Mexican singer-songwriter, in 2013, five years after divorcing Dobbs, but they divorced four years later. During the divorce proceedings, Rey claimed that the comedian abandoned her after she beat cancer. According to court documents, Ron abruptly ended their relationship and canceled her credit cards. According to Rey, her ex-husband also changed the locks on the house they were renovating.
The singer also accused Ron of disconnecting her while she was attempting to pay for cancer-related medical bills. She sought spousal support after Ron’s team abruptly canceled 30 of her gigs, all of which had been booked alongside his, leaving her without income.
