An inquest found that Seema Banu told a security officer that her husband tortured her and that she moved the family to Ireland. During the murder hearing on Thursday, Ms. Banu said that her husband, Sameer Syed, had tortured and beaten her children on Christmas Eve 2018 after a security guard saw them crying in pain.
Seema often told people she wished to return to India since Syed had forced her and her children there. According to evidence, Banu had money and passports to exit Iran since mid-2019. Her spouse threatened to kidnap her children if she reported him to the police.
Seema Banu’s Husband Sameer Syed: Where?
After being accused of murder, Sameer Syed, Seema Banu’s husband, committed himself before trial. Sameer, Seema Banu’s husband, committed himself in Midlands Prison last year before his trial for murdering his wife and children.
On Christmas Eve 2018, Sandymount Dunnes Stores employees saw Ms. Banu and her husband carrying her against their will. Ms. Banu was unconscious and had choke marks on her neck when she was hospitalized in May 2019.
After strangling Seema Banu and her children, her sadistic husband contacted her relatives and stated he didn’t know when or how. Sameer, a gangster who severely harassed Seema throughout their marriage, was not captured after the killings and demanded that the mother and children be buried in Dublin.
Sameer was arrested for the three killings in late November 2020. Seema Banu’s spouse was often arrested. His triple murder trial was nearing completion, with prosecutors expecting a conviction based on the evidence.
Sameer was charged with “severe assault” against Seema and her two children at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on May 16, 2020. In the day following he murdered Seema and her children.

In October 2020, Banu, her daughter Asfira Riza, and her son Faizan Syed were killed at Rathfarnham, south Dublin. Seema’s nephew Kashief Ahmed said in an exclusive interview that their diamonds would never be replaced. Husband Sameer strangled Seema Banu, her daughter Asfira Riza, and her son Faizan Syed.
Kashief and Suhan visit the graves two and a half years after Seema and the two kids’ horrific deaths. They were strangled in their house in Llewellyn Court, Rathfarnham, south Dublin, in October 2020 in a triple tragedy that stunned the nation.
Seema’s family also thanked the Blackrock and Dundrum Garda investigation teams for their assistance. Seema died after Sameer assaulted her several times. He tried to strangle her in India and Ireland as she fled. Seema was ready to take her children back to India to escape the monster, but her Banu husband murdered them first.
