Skylar Neese abruptly disappeared from her home on July 5, 2012. She was tragically found dead in Wayne Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania, in January 2013. Murderer Shelia was raised by Tara Clendenen and Gref Eddy. She was reared as an only child in Blacksville, West Virginia, on September 28, 1995. When Shelia was little, her parents divorced around 2000.
After the divorce, her mother Tara relocated to Morgantown, West Virginia, with her new husband, Jim Clendenen, in October 2010. Sylar Neese was murdered by Shelia Eddy and her associates in July 2012. After the murder, Shelia’s mother Tara filed a motion in Monongalia County Circuit Court, claiming her innocence and denying culpability.
Mary Neese, the victim’s mother, sued Rachel Shoaf, Shelia, Patricia, Tara, and others in 2014. Tara argued that she was not responsible for her daughter’s murderous acts on the night of the murder. That time, Shelia stayed with the Shoafs. Clendenen also noted that Mary Neese publicly denied Eddy’s parents’ guilt on social media.

Skylar Neese returned to her family’s Star City, West Virginia apartment after her Wendy’s shift on July 5, 2012. Neese fled her apartment through her bedroom window at 12:30 a.m. on July 6 according to apartment complex surveillance. She entered a car with high school pals Rachel Shoaf and Shelia. Eddy and Rachel Shoaf stabbed and hid Skylar’s body in Pennsylvania woods. Shelia and Shoaf “disliked her” and “no longer wanted to be friends with her,” which led to the murder.
